Applying to speciality training is highly stressful and time consuming, especially as the competition ratios are steadily increasing and the goalpost forever moving. Getting into a competitive speciality and/or ensuring you get your desired location depends on you scoring highly in all aspects of the application process. With proper preparation and guidance, this is achievable, and we are here to help.
We are a group of Core Surgical Trainees in London who all ranked in the top 50 applicants, scoring as highly as 9th. Our success at the interview came down to preparation and structure, and we have created this resource to share our technique with you and help you achieve your first choice job.
What We Offer

The site will provide you with an all encompassing guide walking you through how to maximise your portfolio and prepare for the process of applying to your chosen speciality. These guides will help those early in their careers to efficiently tailor their preparation, as well as provide useful last minute advice for those on the cusp of submitting their applications. We have carefully curated our simulated stations to ensure they give you a realistic insight into interview day. Every station comes with an in depth analysis and guide on the content and structure that we implemented to allow us to achieve high rankings and competitive jobs. These stations will provide you the required resources to ensure you are polished and hitting the high end marks by interview day. Want to take your preparation to the next level? We offer mock interviews that mimic the real thing, allowing you to practice your content and receive bespoke feedback. Our priority is to maintain an exceptionally high quality, and for that reason during our interviews you will be the only candidate with a faculty of two highly scoring candidates from our team.
